Sometimes I Wonder...

...Is this really my kid?

True story, I swear. Last night I'm driving Benjamin home from his day care. On the radio was a song by Eddie Money called Two Tickets To Paradise on XM's Top Tracks channel. It's a good tune but Benjamin says "I don't like this". I explain it's a tune from Daddy's high school days. Again he says "I don't like this".

So I hit Channel 6, the '60's channel and The Byrds 1967 version of Bob Dylan's My Back Pages is on and I don't hear anything so I ask him if this this ok.

His reply: "I like it!"

I continued to drive home and just shook my head and laughed thinking I have a two and a half year old back seat music critic.

I fully expect him to sing along to "Tangled Up In Blue" within 90 days of his fourth birthday! :)
