The National Hockey League begins play this week. The Capitals open their 51st season on Wednesday night vs the Boston Bruins. Here are some photos I took from behind the glass at practice. I hope to get out to MedStar Capitals Iceplex a couple times each month during the season. Practice is a lot of fun to photograph and I try my best to get the players up close.
