Fire Department Visits Benjamin's School

The local fire department visited Benjamin's school on Monday. Since I had the day off, I was able to check this out.

There was a home safety video presentation, followed by some questions and answers. One of the firemen showed the kids how he put on his fire fighting equipment. They wear up to seventy pounds of equipment when fighting a fire.

Later, the kids got to check out the fire truck and what equipment it stored. Overall, everyone enjoyed their visit, including me!
