World Cup Final: Spain vs Netherlands

Spain beat Germany 1-0 today to advance to their first World Cup Final. The Netherlands beat Uruguay yesterday 3-2 to advance to their third Final. With the USA being my favorite national team, Spain has been my second favorite and I'll be rooting hard for them on Sunday.

Digging into the great big box of photos I have, I came up with these from when Spain played Switzerland in the knockout stage at RFK Stadium in the 1994 World Cup which was held here in the United States. Spain won this game 3-0. Click for a larger view of the shot. In 1994 I believe I had a 35mm Nikon point and shoot which I received as a college graduation present in 1985.

Nats Baseball From The Front Row

Today I was in the front row, past third base and what a view! Nats lost 9-5 and it was hot but nothing beats an afternoon at the ball yard. As usual, click on the pics for a larger shot.
